DJI SPARK : CASES, BACKPACKS & HARD CASES

SHOULD YOU BUY A CASE FOR DJI SPARK?

You’re on the right track if this is the question you asked right after this bugger was purchased. Would you like a direct reply? Oh, yeah – you should certainly buy DJI Spark’s case. You can carry it in bags, pouches… DJI Spark, in fact, is so tiny that it can fit comfortably into a (large) pocket. But it may lead to your drone being compacted possibly damaging it. The weakest point of DJI Spark, as with all other drones, is its propellers. While they are made of high-quality materials, they cannot withstand the turns that will happen when you hold them in a lousy backpack.

If you dedicate a backpack or case just for Spark, it will definitely have a much cozier time. They come usually with a selection of cut-outs made especially for the drone and all the accessories, which makes packaging a breeze. What’s even better – it’s pretty cheap to get them. There are also premium versions, of course, but the entry level models will be perfect if you are looking for the most basic security features. So why not dig into the topic and see precisely what you should look for in the case of your drone.

WHAT SHOULD YOU LOOK FOR IN A CASE?

Before buying, check whether your desired DJI Spark case will work with your DJI Spark. A lot of cases are not specifically built for this system. In addition, your case should also have enough room and cutouts for all your accessories. Lastly, youre going to have this backpack strapped to you through the whole flight .  This is why you should go for a comfy, well padded backside and straps.

CASES FOR DJI SPARK :

CASESACK PROTECTION CASE

CaseSack is the first DJI Spark case to explore. With many colorful products now available this summer, this will be a hot topic.

What is unique about this case? First, the texture is so soft and cozy. Also , it’s cheap!  The CaseSack Safety Case isn’t made of high quality material, but it can still protect your drone. In terms of cut-outs, it has slots for additional batteries and propellers.

FHEAVEN PROTECTIVE CASE

Fheaven is the next case for DJI Spark, it is true that the case is not that different in price from the case of CaseSack. However, I like this one above all others because of its excellent quality. Also, it’s a sturdy enough case to prevent fatal damage to the DJI Spark despite, being made of leather.

Fheaven protective case can hold the drone, and all of its extra batteries, propellers, and connectors. It also includes a mesh pocket for storage of your valuables such as your cell phone or keys. All that for such a cheap investment, Fheaven is worth buying!

HARD CASES FOR DJI SPARK :

GBSELL WATERPROOF HARDSHELL CASE

If you’re a sloppy person and a little bit of extra protection for your drone comes in handy, then what you’re looking for a hard case. As their name suggests, they’re made of hard, durable and sturdy materials that will protect your drone.

Take the waterproof hardshell case of this GBSELL as a good example. It comes in a number of different colors and packs quite a punch in terms of the overall level of protection. This is due to a thick layer of PP on the outside that protects it from suffering any damage and dense EVA on the inside that secures your belongings tightly and ensures that they don’t move around during your travels.

As far as the accessories,  It fits not only DJI Spark and its controller, but additional propellers as well as three additional batteries. This is not surprising given that we are talking about a case with the following proportions: 33 x 25.5 x 13 cm. With all this in mind, I would urge you to go ahead and purchase GBSELL Waterproof Hardshell Case as soon as you can, since it can be found on Amazon for $50 off.

ESIMEN PROFESSIONAL DJI SPARK CASE

Esimen Professional DJI Spark Case is the cheapest on the market that can offer at least some acceptable level of protection for your miniature DJI Spark drone. Keep in mind that this level of protection is not relevant to the case of GBSELL, but again, the price gap indicates that too.

Moving forward, for a little over $20, you’ll get a miniature carrying case that can fit your drone cables, propellers, and 2 batteries. Sure, that’s not a lot of stuff, but it’s still respectable considering the price tag. Esimen made this one out of EVA and 1680D nylon that go perfectly well with each other. The combination of these two materials ensures solid, blunt impact protection as well as drops, shocks and similar issues.

Your drone, as well as all the other accessories you place next to it, will be tightly secured with precise cutouts. With all that being said, Esimen Professional DJI Spark Case seems like a great choice.

BACKPACKS FOR DJI SPARK :

POWEREXTRA SMALL PORTABLE SHOULDER BAG

We are now at the final part of this article – backpacks. At the moment, only one of them is designed to fit DJI Spark (and DJI Mavic Pro). It is made by Powerextra and is also a relatively cheap drone case alternative. The exact size of this  fella is as follows: 24x16x13 cm. With that in mind, this is clearly not one of those huge backpacks that can hold a huge number of things.

You can fit the drone and all of its equipment inside with a tablet or even a digital camera. It has adjustable shoulder straps and includes a super sensitive cloth for cleaning camera lenses, tablet display and similar surfaces. If you end up buying a small portable shoulder bag from Powerextra, you can rest assured that it’s a good product. If, on the other hand, you don’t like it for some reason, Powerextra allows 30 days of money back guarantee. Best of all, this backpack even comes with a 12-month warranty from the seller that nothing is going to go wrong with it. If that’s not enough for you to at least check out this pretty little guy, then I don’t know what else I can say…

LOWEPRO PRO TACTIC BP 250 AW

The last option on this article is not specially designed for DJI Spark, but that doesn’t mean it cannot hold it. It’s quite the contrary actually – I picked this backpack out since it is able to hold an amazing number of things. In addition to DJI Spark and its accessories, Lowepro BP 250 AW can also fit an 11-inch laptop or tablet with ease. Add a bunch of other small tech gadgets, smartphone, headset and there will still be space left for your keys, soda and whatnot.

Space aside, it’s important for you to know about additional features this backpack has. For instance, it incorporates ActivZone technology in its harness which allows seamless ventilation. Likewise, you can also adjust MaxFit dividers and further increase the level of protection with the All-Weather cover. That’s not all though. There is even more customizability available – Lowepro Pro Tactic BP 250 AW has adjustable waist belt that allows extra support for your back. So, to summarize: comfort – check, plenty of space – check, advanced ventilation feature – check…

But all this comes at a high price tag which will surely drive away some of you. Still, for those of you who won’t be frightened by the price tag, I highly recommend this backpack.
